Dear Mom and Dad,

Having a great time, but the lake is freezing and I’m covered in mosquito bites.

Have you heard about jewelry designer Rachel Leigh’s new necklaces? They come in cool shapes — one’s a dog tag, the other’s a heart. (Hint: I’d take either.)

Since she used to spend the whole summer in the art cabin, weaving belts and doing papier-mache, she’s really good at this sort of thing. And she just moved to Philly, so maybe I’ll get to see her when the session’s over?

Oh, yeah, proceeds go to Comfort Zone Camp, which is a great spot for bereaved kids to have some fun.
