La Spiga’s New Kids’ Cooking Classes

what's cookin'?

You’re a superstar one-woman show doing it all without breaking a sweat. (Well, at least until summer rolls around.)

But just because you can, doesn’t mean you want to.

Put that brood of yours to work by enrolling them in La Spiga’s new kids’ cooking class. The monthly session starts tomorrow for mini-Batalis ages 6 to 14. They’ll learn the basics of pasta making, such as mixing egg dough, using a pasta machine, hand rolling, and sauce techniques.

Classes are limited to eight little chefs at a time; be sure to sign up yours in advance.

So the next time you’re cramming to get dinner on the table, you can turn to your kids.

Talk about using your noodle.

Available at La Spiga, 1429 12th Avenue (206-323-8881 or laspiga.com). To register, call or e-mail s.tinsley@laspiga.com.
