Huh - I've been a subscriber to Daily Candy for almost 2 years now. Never commented before but I'm so excited to see that Daily Candy has discovered my boys' favorite kiddy rock band, The Jimmies! They are so much fun and the DVD is colorful and imaginative - our kids watch it over and over! The music is cool - it's rockin' tunes that I can stand with fun silly lyrics that sneak in fun little lessons. The band is brilliantly versatile - they perform songs in multiple musical genres with ease. Timely favorite songs: "Do the Elephant" is catchy tune teaches kids to cough and sneeze into their elbows - a lesson all parents and teachers are emphasizing right now with h1n1, and "Cool to be Uncool" is an edgy rock number about dressing appropriately for the weather.
