Are you after a top night out? Look no further.
On second thought, keep looking — all the way up to the 32nd floor of a building in Shoreditch. Sky Lounge, the new bar with a spectacular view of the city, opens tonight. Take in everything from Tower Bridge to Olympic Park (including Canary Wharf and Crystal Palace) from the floor-to-ceiling windows stretching across three walls.
Sip on an after-work drink in the main room, where double-height ceilings emphasize the vista, or relax on a sofa on the mezzanine floor. On the menu: wines and classic cocktails (caipirinhas, mojitos, martinis), nibbles and sharing plates (oysters, sushi, cured meats, cheeses and Ladurée macarons). There’s also a DJ spinning most Thursday and Friday nights and a private dining room.
For more high-flying revelers.
