What’s cookin’, good lookin’? Absolutely nothing.
Not in your kitchen anyway. But at Muriel’s Kitchen, Charlotte Noble’s new deli in South Kensington, there’s a comforting meal waiting to be devoured. The homey space is a replica of her beloved late Grandma Muriel’s country kitchen: lavender fills the windows; jam pots line shelves; and bread bins, jugs of flowers and worn cookbooks complete the look.
Noble serves a daily rotating menu of hearty dishes (shepherd’s pie, chicken noodle soup, meatballs, lasagna) and healthy salads made on-site. Most recipes are Muriel’s own, and ingredients are seasonal and sourced from British farmers whenever possible. We recommend freshly squeezed juice and fresh-from-the-oven croissants or an assortment of breads — including cherry rosemary and walnut — for breakfast. Eat in or takeaway if you’d rather enjoy in your own home.
At least someone’s grandma would be proud of her culinary skills.
