They say you should have nothing in your home you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful. In which case, we will be throwing all our stuff away (starting with the lava lamp) and redecorating.

Our first stop? Fox and Flyte, a new website that brings together a selection of unexpected yet affordable antiques, gifts and objets d’art.

Duncan Campbell, Haeni Kim and Luke Edward Hall (three friends with impeccable taste who’ve trawled markets far and wide seeking only the best vintage goods) have resurrected gems like cut crystal cocktail glasses, an elegant tortoiseshell snuffbox, a Georgian-style coffee pot and snazzy Church’s loafers. They’ve lovingly restored and repaired every item and restock regularly, so you never know quite what you’re going to get.

But we know you’ll want to keep it.
