Once upon a time, a beautiful princess fell in love with a farm boy.
The boy, Richard Reed, was way ahead in his field and worked hard to develop sustainable methods to enhance the biodiversity of the sheep on his farm in Wales. The princess, Anna Felton, was a fashion designer who began to make jumpers and accessories from those extraordinary sheep.
From the fitted, tuck-stitch Reed jumper in red Geelong wool to the chunky, rib-knit Work jumper made from Monkstone yarn, the sweaters were admired by the fashion flock for their warmth, interesting shapes and details (and by the sheep flock for their kindness).
The duo logged every stage of the process (lambing, shearing, spinning), so that each piece has a story to tell. Not to mention the tales to be told by the leg warmers and chunky snood.
Because there’s nothing like a good fashion yarn.
