The scariest thing about a zombie apocalypse? Determining what to include in the “Welcome back to the land of the living” gift baskets. (The undead are notoriously tough to shop for.)
Stock up at new Beverly Hills boutique D.L. & Company.
The 9-year-old company’s first stand-alone shop (you’ve seen its wares at Barneys and Saks) spans 3,000 square feet and proffers an array of Gothic curios (gold-plated crow talon letter openers, seven deadly sins-themed stationery, pocket watch-encased solid fragrances).
Also available: D.L. & Co.’s coveted scented candles, including Hemlock, aphrodisiac Eros Votive, and, our personal favorite, the Bust of Dierdre (a candle in the shape of a woman’s bust that cries tears of wax).
For sweet relief, a Madame Chocolat pop-up serves artisanal chocolates shaped as (what else) mini skulls.
When it comes to ghoulish giftables, this place is a no-brainer.
Mmm … brains.
