Off We Glow
Bamford Shop Opens

They met at The Wolseley for lunch.
“You look fantastic,” said Charlotte (whilst secretly thinking how old and worn her friend looked).
“I know,” replied Lucinda. “Everyone asks who I’m shagging, but I’m really just looking after my body: colonics, Ewa Berkmann’s facials, oh, and my secret doctor in Paris has suggested ozone jabs for the winter.”
“Why go to all that trouble?” thought Charlotte. After discovering Daylesford Organic Farmshop in Gloucestershire, she’d been eating lots of healthy stuff and drinking white peony tea. Since then, everyone always remarked that she was aglow.
Which reminded her: there was now a similar shop in London, with clothing, homewares, and an organic tea bar. She’d get some of those white silk beaded kaftans (so chic!) and stock up on that delicious honey pearl pekoe green tea.
She got so excited just thinking about it, she hardly heard a word Lucinda said. Something about dashing off to Switzerland for a ‘skin secretion exodus treatment’.
At which point Charlotte made a hasty departure of her own. And headed straight to Bamford.
