Real Hair Rescue Treatment

Dorothy was upset.

She had a beautiful dress to wear (Moschino had lent it to her) and a snazzy pair of red shoes that didn’t give her the usual new-shoe blisters. But her hair was a mess.

It was that damned tornado. She looked like her friend the Scarecrow. (No wonder the Cowardly Lion cried when he saw her. It was a hideous sight).

So she clicked her heels three times, repeating ‘There’s no place like Real’, and arrived at her favourite salon. There she found a wizard called Josh Wood, a wise man with lots of experience who prescribed a bespoke Winter Rescue Treatment for her. This was a luxe deep conditioning mixture — full of vitamins and minerals. Wood’s minions massaged it into her scalp for ten minutes and placed her under a steamer, where she caught up on Pop magazine with a cup of tea.

No one fussed around her. (They knew who she was, but they were used to famous people here).

A quick blow-dry later and she had the glossiest hair in all of Oz. It stayed like that for months, and she didn’t have nightmares ever again.

Even when the wind blew.
