Styles for day include the Huntsman, fashioned out of genuine British cavalry wool twill with real equestrian bridle handles and trim; and the House of Lords, made in the same rich, deep red leather used for those famous buttoned Parliamentary banquettes. Each collection comes in six sizes, including two nifty carryalls for weekends/gym kit and a crafty pouch for vulnerable items, such as your iPod/film script/Chihuahua.

The evening bags are also worth a gander. The Suit of Lights is made from the genuine embroidery of matadors’ capes, while the Vatican is crafted in deep silk supplied by the Vatican’s tailor in Rome.
