Fir Richer, Fir Poorer

Pines & Needles Christmas Trees and Decorations

It’s Christmas and, as Sir Cliff once said, a time for giving, a time for getting.

A time for forgiving and for forgetting, more like.

Whilst you may have remembered to buy a couple of presents (for yourself) and some Hellmann’s in the run up to the big day, spare a thought for the tree. If you can bear it. Finding one that isn’t a) plastic or b) fibre-optic can be a challenge. Then it needs to be dragged home. Once it’s through the front door, you’re obliged to Hoover up each one of its fallen needles. And then you have to decorate it.

Pines & Needles will do all of the above for you. They stock a huge range of trees (nondrop, potted, Nordmann fir, Norway spruce) as well as lights, baubles, wreaths, holly and mistletoe — all at bargain prices. Delivered to your door, then assembled and decorated. And they’ll even collect the tree for recycling when Christmas is over.

Leaving you with a little more time for the giving and the getting.

123 Shirland Road, W9 and Battersea Park, Chelsea Bridge entrance, SW11 (0845 458 2788 or pinesandneedles.com). Delivery/collection charges to central London may vary.
