And they’re grabbing as many items as they can, and they’re racing to the till, and, oh, they think it’s all over. It is now. The queue goes back for miles.

Avoid the crush this weekend and head to the Young Designers’ Christmas Bazaar, where you’ll find plenty of stalls under one roof selling fashion and accessories (Sexy Pants and Naughty Knickers, Constance Eyre), children’s clothes (Ba Ba Knitwear), homemade food (Mayflour jams and chutneys) and things for the home (Camilla Astor Designs, Susie Watson china).

Complimentary mince pies will be served to keep energy levels up, and Father Christmas will be running one of the brand new Once Upon a Time storytelling workshops for restless kiddywinks.
