Mostly, you live your life by design. But sometimes you have to leave things to fortune.
Example: World of Found. A strange little online interactive gallery and T-shirt shop, it’s the brainchild of a Barcelona-based couple who turned an accidental encounter with a random scrap of paper into a hub of global creativity.
Inspired by a photo of a girl and her bunny found in a market in Kobe, Japan, World of Found is a sort of shrine to the concept of chance: visitors can view artwork inspired by the idea or anonymously design and submit their own to the site. Those less artistically inclined can purchase sweatshop-free shirts that are themselves wearable works of art.
The point of the site? To make you think about the beauty and importance of unplanned encounters.
Feeling slightly lost?
Just give it a chance.
