Riverford Organics Vegbox

Sure, you like to eat organic — but how do you source it? Do you forage daily at your local market, caressing and smelling each bit as you go? Do you grow it at home? Or do you commute weekly to the countryside and gather your own?
Probably none of the above.
Busy folk who like to eat well can order a vegbox straight to their front door, courtesy of Riverford Organics. Subscribe to the scheme, and every week or fortnight, a box of fresh, locally grown, seasonal produce will arrive — all of it pesticide free.
The box will be filled with whatever is in season, be it Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, curly kale, squash, artichokes or Maris Piper potatoes. The cost is pretty cheery, too; a mini box is £7.50 for six items, whilst a family box is only £13. The items you get are non-changeable (even the ugly ones) but, for a small charge, you can choose extras like wine, beer, yoghurt, milk, eggs, cereals, olive oil and chocolate.
Everything you’ll receive is grown in the UK, so you’re still supporting local farmers.
Without actually having to be one yourself.
