Cutting It Fine

Chop’d Salad Bar Opens

chop! chop!

Junk food junkie? Not you. Your kitchen shelves are brimming with lentils, brown rice and mizuna.

The only problem: you haven’t a clue how to cook any of it.

Get yourself over to a professional saladista at Chop’d, which opens in Canary Wharf today. This gourmet salad bar offers a smorgasbord of greens and all the bits to go with them, like mozzarella, tomatoes, beans, pumpkin, beetroot and warm chorizo — plus a selection of dressings like pesto, mango or yoghurt and mint.

Choose a ready-to-go salad bowl or create your own and add a Chop’d soup, fruit smoothie or muesli cup.

Short on time? Locals can pre-order for pickup (though remember that queuing provides an excellent bottom-clenching opportunity) or arrange delivery to their front door or desk.

It’s all ridiculously delicious and healthy.

Which means you can probably get away with a hefty burger and chips at suppertime.

Chop’d, 34 North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, E14 5HX (020 3229 0087 or chopd.co.uk).
