Pulp Fiction

IcePulp Sorbet in a Tube

It’s hot. Your thighs keep sticking together. You’re sweating buckets but hoping no one will notice. And it’s not even midday.

Need to chill out? Downing the obligatory eight litres of ice-cold water is all very well, but there is a more joyous alternative: IcePulp sorbet in a tube. Available in mango, raspberry, ruby peach or blood orange flavours, the French-made sorbet contains all-natural ingredients with not an E number in sight. And it’s utterly scrumptious.

Suck it directly from the tube or squeeze it into a bowl and eat it with a teaspoon. Unlike a traditional ice lolly, it won’t drip onto your hands or your just-washed-and-ironed white shirt. And once you’ve eaten as much as you want, you can screw the lid back on and put it in the freezer. It’s ideal for picnics, parties or simply after a sandwich at your desk. It also makes a great coulis for fruit salad and ice cream or a mixer for cocktails.

Worried it might replicate that Magnum addiction you’ve been battling all these years? No problem: each serving contains the same number of calories as just one apple.

How very cool.
