Joint Effort

Things to do:
1. Answer e-mails
2. Source new autumn outfits
3. Call mother
4. Wax legs
5. Pay bills
6. See friends (all of them)

Ever feel like life’s too much effort?

Here’s one thing you can tick off your list: cooking. Effortless Eating is an ingenious new company that delivers ready-made, seasonal British food to your door. It’s not takeaway (they need 48 hours’ notice) but more like an invisible chef.

Starters include courgette fritters with beef carpaccio and horseradish cream or smoked haddock and bacon quiches. For mains, there’s beef stew with parsley dumplings, venison sausages or Gruyère bread-and-butter pudding, followed by white chocolate mousse with caramel croutons or chocolate meringues with molten mocha sauce.

Call Effortless for lunches, teas, dinner parties and telly suppers — or simply to stock up the freezer.

You’ll have more time to do the things you need to.

Effortlessly.
