What drones on and on?
a) Your mother-in-law
b) Your boss
c) Ben Goldsmith’s ever-growing cluster of stylish restaurants
If you prefer Drones to droners, head to the new Drones cafe, opening today in Fenwicks. Unlike Drones Club on St. George Street, which is for members only, this little pit stop outstretches its elegant arms to all. Which means you can shop and stop, without having to traipse all the way to The Wolsey for a decent lunch.
Open throughout the day, Drones serves simple, good-for-you food: eggs on posh toast with proper butter for breakfast and a lunch and supper menu of crab salad, seasonal pastas and Drones’s chicken pie. This is a very British establishment, so we probably don’t need to tell you that teatime is homemade scones with clotted cream and jam, finger sandwiches and good leaf teas.
Drones welcomes the leisurely muncher, so nab a table and settle in. It’s wonderfully casual, and the staff won’t kick you out.
Which means you can meet, eat and talk. On.
And on.
And on.
