His Fair Ladies

Now and again, a little fixation can be a good thing. Catherall’s monosyllabic restos. Your Target Go International wardrobe. And, of course, panda camming.

In the case of fashion illustrator Tim Degner, his fascination with the fairer sex has resulted in a captivating collection of angsty-meets-pretty prints.

Line-drawn, wide-eyed lovelies appear in melancholic or thoughtful poses, asserting things like “I ___ you,” “All the boys I can handle,” and “Are you someone important?”  Meanwhile, more pointed messages (lingerie-clad femmes proclaiming “All you need is time” and pigeon-toed Mary Janes next to “You looked so nice”) seem to find Degner addressing his alluring subjects.

Each hand-signed piece comes ready to display or send (chipboard mounting and mailing envelope included). And given that they’re only $20 a pop, indulging in more than one is definitely an option.

Good thing: You’re bound to become obsessed.
