Cover Story

Coco Chocolates

Where’s Lord Lucan? Did E.T. really go home? How many paid when others had already played?

There’s nothing more intriguing than a good cover-up.

The latest is by Coco Chocolate, and it comes covered in charming wrapping, beautifully illustrated by local artists. Handmade in a large kitchen in Edinburgh, the mostly organic choccies are now available to order online.

Each piece holds an unexpected flavor. Slabs of dark, white and milk chocolate come infused with Earl Grey tea, black pepper or jasmine; while drinking flakes are mingled with chilli, cinnamon, lavender, vanilla bean or nutmeg.

Assorted boxes are so pretty you’ll want to keep them long after their contents are gone (the white choc praline golf balls are encased in their own painted golf course). For Easter, there are bags of sugar chicks and rabbits, mini marzipan egglets and raspberry crumble chocolate eggs that literally melt in your mouth.

Which brings us to the most delicious part.

Getting to the bottom of things.
