You use Stella’s face cream. You tote Anya’s canvas carrier. You’ve already bagged a penthouse in Dongtan.
You’re cool. But are you cool enough?
Book a session at The London Kriotherapy Centre and you’ll be positively frozen.
Whole-body Kriotherapy means enduring two to three minutes in a room that’s -105°C to -135°C, and claims to cure everything from depression and insomnia to acne and muscular pain.
In flannelette crop top, shorts and headband, you acclimatise at -60°C for twenty seconds. Then you enter a -135°C compartment with a physiotherapist who remains with you at all times, encouraging you to walk and dance about. (It’s dry air, so it doesn’t feel that chilly). Once outside again, you warm up on an exercise bike or VibroGym equipment.
You’ll leave looking radiant and feeling unusually good — and that’s actually before you’ve nabbed a superhyped, must-have handbag.
Cool indeed.
