Alternative shopping experiences:
1. The grab-now-pray-it-fits-at-home sample sale
2. The pay-now-receive-next-year trunk show
3. The guerrilla don’t-mind-the-damp shop
Want the best of all three? Clemens en August’s travelling concept store has arrived in London as part of its twelve-city European tour, and it’s open to all at Notting Hill’s 20th Century Theatre from today until Sunday.
At present, this is the only way to get your hands on the coveted label, founded in 2005 by Munich-based designer Alexander Brenninkmeijer. You’ll find (first-hand) classic tailored suits, knits, tunic tops, pinafore dresses, T-shirts and shirts in all sizes.
Simply try and buy, no guerrilla tactics or greedy pilfering required.
How does that grab you?
