You pluck, wax, rip, peel, squeeze, squash, singe, roast — all in the name of looking good.
But doing so doesn’t have to be torturous, especially with Kind. The quirky knitwear label uses ’30s and ’40s silhouettes for elegant and classic pieces that look and feel seriously attractive.
Feminine but edgy, the collection includes dresses, cardigans and T-shirts in lightweight wool or cashmere, and features graphic images inspired by Alice in Wonderland. For spring/summer ’07, there are pop art-inspired prints and colourful (and refreshingly childlike) motifs such as cupcakes, ice creams and doughnuts in bubblegum pink, seaside blue and strawberry red.
Sound appealing (rather than a-peeling)?
Sometimes it pays to be Kind to yourself.
