You Wood If You Could
Wood London Accessories

You’ve heard a chain is only as strong as its weakest link.
In fashion terms, that means if you overlook the extras, your entire outfit goes kaput.
Which is why you need some robust links from Link, an edgy new jewellery line made from three-millimeter birch plywood. With a background in art and design, creator Bethan Laura Wood went back to the drawing board to come up with this collection, getting the idea from studying the joining mechanism of (what else?) her own drawing board.
Now she cuts out various sizes of rings and coats them in layers of primer, paint and lacquer before assembling them in paper-chain-style necklaces. Colours are apt for this summer’s neon rave craze, and it’s all fashionably ecofriendly.
Just don’t be surprised when friends start imitating your look.
It’s called a chain reaction.
