Bless His Sole

Jonathan Kelsey Shoes

good as gold!

Louboutin, Blahnik, Vivier, Ferragamo: when you want to walk with the well-heeled, it’s not who you know but shoe you know.

Next up: Jonathan Kelsey.

The buzz around new British cobbler Kelsey is justified. His career reads like a near-perfect checklist, with experience under the likes of Jimmy Choo, Strenesse and Giles Deacon.

His creations are perfectly on trend for this season: pronounced cone heels and knee high boots come in mixed, dual-tone materials like patent or metallic leather. His signature angular designs are inspired by the architecture and furniture of both the 1920s and ’60s, with plenty of sex appeal.

The result? Shoes that’ll turn heads from an appreciable distance.

Sadly, your Kelseys won’t come cheap; they start from around £300. But in years to come, you can brag about the fact that you were savvy enough to purchase a pair from his debut collection.

So now you know.

Manolo shoe?
