Make It Up

The Make Lounge Craft Lessons

get crafty!

Though your mortgage gives you a headache and your tax bill a heart attack, you’re on the make.

But when you tire of your regular career, take an artistic break at The Make Lounge in North London. At this groovy new crafts centre you can meet people and make assorted ‘stuff’ at one of many evening and weekend workshops.

This autumn, partake in classes such as Crocheted Flowers, Knitting Basics (including your very own fingerless gloves), Beaded Earrings and Decoupage (where you will fashion your own platter out of vintage magazine cuttings). You can even create your own bath and bodycare products.

From £35 a class (that includes materials), you’ll learn plenty and will walk away with some unique creations (some might even call them heirlooms).

And if you don’t?

The very worst you’ll suffer is an art attack.

The Make Lounge, at The Hub, 5 Torrens Street, EC1V 1NQ (020 7841 8910 or themakelounge.com).
