Mary Janes Bar & Lounge Opens

Your idea of a naughty cocktail is:
a) Sex on the Beach.
b) A Slow Screw Against the Wall.
c) Baileys, downed whilst queuing for the lav.

For a cooler concoction head to Mary Janes, a new lounge and late-night bar dedicated to the cocktail, which opens today.

Try the eponymous Mary Jane (champagne, rose petal vodka, fresh watermelon), a chocolate mint martini (vanilla vodka, crème de menthe/cacao), or the Nougat (amaretto, honey liqueur, apple juice). Serious sweetie pies will like the Sweetshop Shooter, a confectionery-inspired shot tasting of cola cubes, Toblerone or bubblegum.

There’s a stylishly unstylish happy hour — 5-7 p.m., Monday-Friday — while burgers, salads and pick-a-topping ice cream sundaes are served anytime.

If it doesn’t sound particularly good for you, it isn’t.
