Where Wild Things Are
LeJu Vegetable Ivory Jewellery

You once housed a stray dog. You wouldn’t hurt a fly. And you’re forever carrying a drunken friend home from the pub.
You’re clearly willing to save indigenous wildlife.
Now you can help protect the elephant with LeJu. By using vegetable ivory, jewellery designer Lenny Trines and partner, Juan Munoz, believe they can banish demand for real ivory. Sourced from the Amazonian rainforest, the production of vegetable ivory boosts local economies.
Vegetable ivory is a sustainable seed from the palm tree and is used, in this case, to craft earrings, bracelets and necklaces that last. Complemented by leather, seeds and sterling silver, the ivory is coloured using natural plant-based dyes and oils.
It’s brilliantly bold, not to mention seriously groovy.
Highly suitable for your own wild life.
