Hot to Trot

Road Runner, Lance Armstrong and Tim Montgomery are fast.

But they’re not a patch on Gordon Ramsay.

The unstoppable (or is that plain workaholic?) chef has lately revived classic Brit eatery Foxtrot Oscar, home of many a porky Chelseaite since 1980. Situated a few doors down from his own restaurant, Gordon Ramsay, Ramsay often eats there. Now he’s gone and bought the joint.

The new bistro, which officially opened for lunch and dinner yesterday, isn’t much changed; it’s simply sleeker all round, with Ramsay Mini-Me, chef Mark Sargeant, directing a menu of traditional Brit dishes like potted shrimp on toast, fishcakes and wild boar, as well as apple tart and locally sourced cheeses.

Fast.
