On the House
Food at 52 Cookery School

Monday: beans on toast. Tuesday: beans with cheese. Wednesday: baked potato with beans.
Does your culinary repertoire need a little tweaking?
Attend a cookery class at Food at 52, and you’ll come away with a smorgasbord of ideas. Held at the home of cooking tutor John Benbow, a charming Georgian townhouse in Clerkenwell (the address of which is a secret to all but his pupils), you’ll spend the best part of a day preparing then devouring two starters, two mains and an indulgent pud.
With classes like Authentic Moroccan, Flavours of Thailand, Stress Free Dinner Parties and Fish and Seafood, there’s a course for everyone. (Benbow also holds bespoke cooking parties for private groups.)
Fancy a general overview? Opt for a full day course. Busy? The Lunch Express offers a quick and tasty take.
That’s right: we said tasty.
