Vendome Mayfair Nightclub Opens

Last time you decided to go out for a boogie, you came home with bruised ankles and battered toes.

Hardly a reason to put on your dancing shoes.

Lucky for you, there’s Vendome Mayfair — a new nightclub on the site of what was Pangaea. Designed with Xanadu and Saturday Night Fever in mind, the focal point of this after-dark hotspot is a vast round dance floor with a revolving DJ booth at its centre.

Expect a futuristic and totally Technicolor interior, with faux snakeskin stairwell banisters, a booth designed by Jade Jagger and a retro bar serving groovy ’70s cocktails. There’s also a caged area that seats twelve.

Forget those poxy little dance floors.

This place is a fever pitch.
