Flash Gordon

York & Albany Restaurant, Hotel and Deli Opens

your home away from home!

Vintage treasures, punk culture and the fear of being mugged: there has always been more to Camden than Amy Winehouse.

The latest reason to cop a squat? York & Albany, a new Gordon Ramsay-owned deli, bar, restaurant and boutique hotel overlooking Regent’s Park, which opens today.

The building dates back to the 1820s but the interior, designed by Russell Sage, is more modern than vintage. Angela Hartnett’s menu includes spicy gazpacho, braised pollack with preserved lemons, and delicious homemade ice creams. Tapas are available all day or find a range of posh cheeses, cured meats and takeaway items at the deli.

If you want to make the most of your jaunt, there are ten individually designed bedrooms in which to rest your stylish head.

Camden: cool?

It’s a beehive of activity.
