Women are good at sharing: we do it with dessert, clothes and (occasionally) men.

But every now and then, something comes along that’s so good we’re tempted to keep it to ourselves.

Like The Nail Station. Run by four Nepalese sisters, the Marylebone salon is a much-guarded secret among local residents. But since it has just relocated to a beautiful 18th-century building (high ceilings, ornate fireplace, elegant chandeliers) nearby, it won’t remain so for much longer.

The staff here are friendly and the prices decent. Though eyelash extensions, threading and waxing are on offer, the main focus is nails (jewels, acrylics: you name it, they do it).
