But now Faux Show — a bespoke radio show — is fighting back. And it’s personal.

The clever new service is the brainchild of two exbroadcasters and provides receivers with a customized CD, complete with recorded dedications from friends and family (taken by phone, e-mail or in person), as well as specially selected songs packaged together like a real show with a professional DJ presenting each soundbite. Tributes run for about 30 minutes in total (without commercial breaks).
