Sanctum Soho Hotel and Restaurant Opens

Looking for an excuse to check out of your life and into a hotel? We’ve found five — so start planning a sleepover at the new Sanctum Soho Hotel.

1. No. 20 — the in-house restaurant starts serving today: Brit favourites like crab and sweet corn chowder with brown crab toast and lamb cutlets.

2. Expect the unexpected in individually designed bedrooms decked out in everything from glitter to baroque to art deco slick with minibars set in large speakers.

3. A private cinema in the basement puts your plasma TV to shame.

4. Heat things up at the 24-hour rooftop bar complete with jacuzzi and all-night picnic basket service.

The hotel opens in time for the weekend, but reservation lines are open now.
