You know a good thing when you see it.
So you’ll swoon for DailyCandy Movies & Shakers, a new bimonthly event that allows you to see films before they are released. The screenings are open only to DailyCandy London subscribers and are completely free.
Our first: the much-awaited Chéri, directed by Stephen Frears, starring Michelle Pfeiffer, Rupert Friend and Kathy Bates. Set in pre-WWI Paris, it’s the story of a love affair between ex-courtesan Léa and Chéri, son of her rival, Madame Peloux.
Chéri isn’t officially out until 8 May, but DailyCandy London subscribers can catch it at a private screening on 7 May, at 6:45 p.m., at Charlotte Street Hotel, with Firefly drinks and Lola’s Kitchen cupcakes in hand. Space is limited and it’s first come, first served.
So be there.
Or be screen with envy.

For more information about the film, go to cherithemovie.co.uk. R.S.V.P. to screenidle@dailycandy.com by 1 p.m. today from the address at which you get your regular DailyCandy e-mails.
