Ebony & Ivory Scarves

You love a good mash up (George Michael vs. Missy Elliott had you dancing like a grizzly bear).

You just can’t get the moves quite right (Dolly Parton vs. Royksopp left you with a twisted ankle).

Luckily, no fancy footwork is required to master the new mix from Ebony & Ivory. These extra long accessories designed by German model Bianca Vaitl are made from a colourful concoction of traditional Palestinian, Tibetan and skull scarves — each one punctuated with lines of love poetry handwritten along the seams.

Add in the fact that the scarves are made by a team at the White Raven, a nonprofit group that teaches job skills to the handicapped.

And that’s music to your ears.
