Last time you left a party with a new hat, Smarty Arty had made it from a balloon.

Time to top that with an event hosted by Katherine Elizabeth.

The talented designer — who perfected her craft working for Stephen Jones and making hats for Dior shows — will show a group of up to twenty (no fewer than five) how to create luxurious fascinators from scratch during a two- to three-hour fiesta.

You provide the refreshments. Elizabeth will demonstrate how to make the headpieces with feathers and trim them with fabric, beads and crystals. Partygoers get to keep their creations. For larger parties, she’ll even organise a makeup artist to come along and finish the look.

Keep in mind the party circuit is only a part-time gig for the British milliner. First and foremost, she designs for her eponymous label.

And she won’t be hanging up her hat anytime soon.
