Not for events planner and vintage aficionado Helen Ruff. She spends her time celebrating the past.

Her passion for anything shabby chic or kitsch inspired Doily Days — a one-stop shop for vintage-styled events. She provides everything from quaint decorations (jugs of flowers, faded floral cushions, mismatched crockery) to catering staff dressed in retro aprons and old VW Beetles and a camper van to transport guests.

Memory not what it was? Request a photographer who will arrive dressed as a 1930s paparazzo to capture the day in beautiful sepia pictures. Doily Days specializes in weddings, but Ruff is happy to help with any kind of celebration.

After all, you don’t have to be married to have all the fun.
