Pix Pintxo Bar Opens

There’s no denying we’re all spoilt for choice. (Blame it on all that pick ’n’ mix in our childhoods.)

So if it’s options you’re after, head to Pix — the new pintxo bar opening today in Notting Hill. The informal Spanish-style restaurant serves Spanish wines, beers and cocktails, as well as finger food — asparagus and foie gras with leeks and white chocolate, chili chicken with yoghurt sauce, pork belly with apple puree — all held together with wooden skewers.

The space is bright and airy, and a DJ livens things up at the weekends. Diners help themselves to snacks displayed on the bar, then pop their sticks into cups on their tables for them to be counted toward the bill.

All dishes are only £2.50, so there’s no need to hold back.
