Holiday parties — they’re all the same: sparkly dress, sparkling wine disguised as champagne and a photo booth picture (your face hidden by your mate’s giant head).
Shake up your next shindig by inviting Tyson Benton and The Fabulous Photo Emporium.
The ex-Getty photo researcher will set up a mini photo studio, complete with themed backdrop (classic garden, Moulin Rouge, red carpet) and an old-timey plate camera (to disguise fancy digital equipment).
Guests can snap their own photos (using a button on the floor) and accessorise with props like vintage telephones, microphones, fans or — our favourite — moustaches on sticks. There’s someone on hand to help, but you’re free to pose and pout as long as you like. Each image appears on a big screen for the rest of the party to see.
Print the photos or upload them directly to Facebook.
