WeFund Helps You Become a Mini Patron of the Arts

Every Little Helps

creative projects!

You supported the arts back when all it took was some macaroni and glue.

WeFund, a new crowd-funding platform launched by former lawyer and internet entrepreneur Michael Troughton, makes it easy to be a patron again.

Browse the site to discover creatives (milliners, indie bands) and projects (short films, literary publications, orchestra recordings, digital graffiti workshops) currently in need of backing. Want extra incentive to shell out? Depending on your donation amount (£1-£2,000), the artist you donate to will grant you a few perks (anything from a pat on the back to a shout-out in the programme, free tickets, a framed print or, our favourite, a character named after you in a play.)

If the artist hits his proposed campaign target, he gets the money (and you, the perk). If he doesn’t, no one gets or pays anything.

So dig deep and spread the word.
