A Family Music Adventure with DidiPop

Music You'll Both Love

didipop!

Nothing kills your pop culture fluency faster than having a kid. One more round of “Itsy Bitsy Spider” and you’re going to go an itsy bit insane.

Pick up the beat with Mar Vista’s songbird for small-fry, DidiPop. Long before she was a musician-slash-mother, Deborah Poppink took her music degree on the road, teaching and performing in 28 countries, from Bali to Morocco.

These days she’s a musical tour guide, leading families on melodic journeys through her CDs, local concerts, and private performances.

Though her latest album, DidiPop Goes to Hawaii, takes kids on a tuneful vacation (“We’ll eat shave ice under the banyan tree”) with a dash of summer school (Humu humu nuku nuku apu aa, anyone?), lyrics like “catch a wave/we’ve got it made in the shade” feel like home sweet home — without the mortgage.

For more information, go to didipop.com. Private performances start at $250.
