Wide-leg jeans and Steven Tyler aren’t this season’s only comebacks.
After a two-year hiatus, C by Karina, the much-loved Robertson Boulevard eyewear boutique, has resurfaced on Beverly Drive.
Optician Karina Leigh (who took time off for mom duty) outfits the space with swank Hollywood Regency-style decor and loads it up with designer lenses ranging from Tom Ford, Oliver Peoples, and Persol to local faves like Benjamin Eyewear.
Also getting in on the (second) act is an extensive selection of rare, never-worn vintage shades. Go mod with a pair of 1960s Dior houndstooth cat eyes or soar into summer with 1970s Emmanuelle Khanh aviators (the perfect accoutrement to that aforementioned flared denim).
Leigh’s a whiz at frame-to-face matches, so if you expect to leave empty-handed, dream on.
C by Karina, 236½ South Beverly Drive, between Gregory Way and Charleville Boulevard, Beverly Hills (310-777-1818). Frames start at $140.
