Whether you’re a member of the LBGT community or just a sucker for parades and glitter, we’ve got you covered this year.

THE MAIN EVENT
L.A. Pride 2011
What: Live it up at this two-day celebration featuring gourmet food trucks; boozy libations; performances by Estelle, Margaret Cho, and Upright Caberet; and loads more in West Hollywood Park.
Why: Fight your way to the front of the parade for the best view of elaborate floats and Grand Marshal Johnny Weir.
When: Festival, Sat., noon-midnight; Sun., 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Parade, Sun., 11 a.m.
Where: West Hollywood Park, San Vicente Blvd., b/t Santa Monica Blvd. & Melrose Ave., West Holllywood (323-969-8302). Parade starts at Santa Monica & Crescent Heights Blvds. Tickets ($20-$35) online here.

UP ON A ROOF
Pride at Palihouse
What: Catch the festivities somewhere with a bit more elbow room at this rooftop BBQ with DJs. A portion of the proceeds goes to AIDs Project Los Angeles.
Why: Two of the coveted 150 tickets are reserved for the first readers to email pride@palihouse.com with DailyCandy in the subject line.
When: Sun., 11 a.m.-4 p.m.
Where: 8465 Holloway Dr., at Hacienda Pl., West Hollywood (323-656-4020). A limited number of tickets ($25) available by emailing pride@palihouse.com.

POSTER CHILDREN
FAIR: Art of Action
What: Shepard Fairey’s iconic “Love Unites” print gets made over by celeb supporters of marriage equality (from Natalie Portman to Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa) with sale proceeds benefiting the Gay & Lesbian Center and FAIR.
Why: Check out digital remixes of the poster from a Deviant Art contest judged by Fairey himself.
When: Thru July 15. Mon.-Fri., 6-10 p.m.; Sat., 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Where: The Advocate and Gochis Galleries at the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center, 1125 N. McCadden Pl., b/t Lexington Ave. & Santa Monica Blvd., Hollywood (323-860-7300).

BOOGIE NIGHTS
Deep Fried Pride at Fuzzy
What: Kick off the weekend at a wild dance party with drag performances, DJs, and guest host James St. James at the iconic Three Clubs.
Why: Pregame with $5 Svedka cocktails in the front room 9-11 p.m.
When: Fri., 9 p.m.-2 a.m.
Where: 1123 Vine St., at Santa Monica Blvd., Hollywood (323-462-6441). Tickets ($5) at the door.

Free Dance Nights at Akbar
What: Bypass the WeHo madness at this free weekend-long dance party with cheap drinks and great tunes at our favorite gay haunt in Silverlake.
Why: Get a head start on Friday with $3 drafts and $4 wells 4-8 p.m.
When: Thurs.-Sat., 10 p.m.-2 a.m.
