The Flower Truck Blooms on the Westside

It's Smell on Wheels

the flower truck los angeles!

L.A.’s truck scene is mired in hip fusion fare (sushi burritos? Really?) and no-cal, no-taste fro yo. But a florist on wheels? Now that’s a bloomin’ good idea.

Owner Jenifer Kaplan is putting The Flower Truck in park every weekend on the Westside, rotating her sweet-smelling route between Venice, Culver City, and Santa Monica.

Catch the revamped ice cream truck curbside by following posted locations online. Expect daily fresh cuts like gerberas, hyacinth, lisianthus, kangaroo paw, lilac, and mini pineapples. All flowers are plucked by hand for that sweet, single-stem surprise, gift bouquet, or custom business arrangement ($2-$40). And forget about (yawn) carnations in this colorful bunch: The Flower Truck stocks unusual, seasonal blooms that won’t wilt your bank account.

And that’s awesome, blossom.
