Beginners: Drawings and Photographs

Motion Potion’s Silent Disco
What: Grab a pair of headphones and tune into a DJ set by Motion Potion at this “silent” dance party at (and inevitably on the streets outside of) The Central: Social Aid and Pleasure Club.

What: NYC’s go-to boutique for all things vintage has landed in L.A. Expect to find the store’s self-titled line, as well as expertly curated wares from decades past (a wealth of heritage brands like Levi’s Vintage and Wrangler Blue Bell).
Why: Vintage records, books, artwork, and original ’60s and ’70s rock posters are also up for grabs.

What: For four days, find 50 quirky, one-of-a-kind paper collages ($195-$245) by the L.A.-based illustrator, who was recently commissioned to design merchandise for this season’s Hollywood Bowl.
