Used to be your taste in studs veered toward the chiseled surfer dude variety. But one too many Endless Summer references/misspelled texts/paternity suits showed the error of your ways.
Perhaps it’s time to let Rachel Loren, Satya Stewart, and Annah Stewart-Zafrani, the designers of new jewelry line Loren Stewart, play matchmaker. Their studs are chic, understated, and (best of all) never spell ocean with an s-h.
Available in rose, yellow, and white gold, the earrings ($180 and up) are divided into shape-based collections like The Irregulars (Pyramids, Cubes) and The Arrowheads (Late Archaic, Neolithic). We’re partial to The Rxs (Acyclovir, Dextroamphetamine), named for the pills they’re modeled after.
Made in L.A., the line (which also includes necklaces and rings) began as a way for the designers to melt down and reuse jewelry given to them, in part, by exes.
If only ex-boyfriends were that easy to get rid of.
