What: The West Coast’s largest design show features more than 200 brands, design competitions, presentations, panels, home tours, and more.

Barnsdall Friday Night Wine Tastings

What: Hike to the top of Barnsdall Art Park to begin another season of artisanal vino from Silverlake Wine, a rotating cast of food trucks, and tunes from KCRW’s Dan Wilcox.
Why: Pique your architectural appreciation with new evening tours of the Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Hollyhock House.
When: Thru Sept. Fri., 5:30-8:30 p.m.

NativeLA Flea Market
What: Local designers, artists, and shops join forces with NativeLA to sell everything from Anatomically Incorrect Creatures to awesome vintage wares under one roof. The very same roof shelters free cupcakes and wine.
Why: If you’re hungry for more, hit the Auntie’s Fry Bread and Meet n’ Potatoes trucks parked outside.
